Geltsdale Carpet & Beds Limited does not and cannot review all communications and materials posted to or created by users accessing the site, and is not in any manner responsible for the content of these communications and materials. You acknowledge that by providing you with the ability to view and distribute user-generated content on the site, Geltsdale Carpets & Beds Ltd  is merely acting as a passive conduit for such distribution and is not undertaking any obligation or liability relating to any contents or activities on the site. However, Geltsdale Carpets & Beds Limited reserves the right to block or remove communications or materials that it determines to be considered abusive, defamatory, or obscene, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading, or in violation of a copyright, trademark or; other intellectual property right of another or offensive or otherwise unacceptable to Geltsdale Carpets & Beds Limited in its sole discretion.

Unwanted Goods
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have 7 working days, commencing on the day after you receive the goods, in which you can cancel your order for a full refund.You must do this in writing, fax or email, a phone call is not sufficient.You are required to return the goods to us and at your expense.You are required to take reasonable care of the goods and return together with any original packaging. Items such as mattresses which are sealed for hygiene purposes should remain sealed if you wish to cancel your order for a full refund under the Distance Selling Regulations. Items being returned unsealed may incur charges. Customers where possible should always use a courier company to return unwanted goods.  Customers returning goods themselves are welcome to do so. 
 
Important - Your Delivery
Your items will be delivered within 7-10 working days of ordering, providing that the relevant items are in stock. 
You will be contacted by Julian Bowen no less than 2 days prior to the delivery date and you will be given a slot of either am or pm. 
A POD signature is required. 
Our service is limited to the UK Mainland but we are happy to provide a price on request for Offshore Isles and Ireland. 
We highly recommend inspecting the condition of your delivery upon receipt. If there are any visible signs of damage, you should sign for it as 'Damaged' and report it to us within 24 hours via phone, email or the website; this will enable us to deal with the situation effectively.

Purchase of Products Manufactured From Wood
Please note many of our products are manufactured from wood and as such they may contain natural bumps, blemishes and knots. This is all part of the woods natural characteristics. Any product containing such bumps, blemishes and knots are not considered to be damaged or faulty therefore customers should take this into consideration when buying any product made from wood
 
General Delivery Notes
Any despatch dates are given in good faith.  
 
Images
All images are for illustration purposes only and are subject to change by the manufacturers at any time, we endeavour to keep these up to date but sometimes there can be slight differences in the actual product delivered.
 
Non-Delivered Items
While we despatch all our products promptly - we reserve the right to wait 28 days before considering an item lost in the post.
 
The returns policy for faulty/damaged goods offered by Geltsdale Carpets & Beds Limited does not cover cosmetic faults such as scratches or damage to trim or associated marks caused by normal use of the product. The warranty is also void if the manufacturer’s instructions have not been followed or if the product has been subject to misuse, modification, careless use or excess force.
 
In the event that our chosen delivery company cannot deliver and the product is returned to ourselves we reserve the right to cover the fees charged to us by our courier for these non deliveries.
 
Telephone and email communication
Geltsdale Carpets & Beds Limited reserves to right to choose only to correspond via email where it is considered necessary through abusive and agressive dialogue. All of our phone calls are logged and recorded, in instances of agressive or abusive behaviour we will refuse to enter into further telephone conversations and attempt to resolve the issues via email only, in the unlikely event that the abuse continues via email, we reserve the right to terminate all communication until such time as the other party can reinstate talks in a proper manor.

In an attempt to provide increased value to our visitors, Geltsdale Carpets & Beds Ltd may link to sites operated by third parties. Geltsdale Carpets & Beds Ltd has no control over these linked sites, all of which have separate privacy and data collection practices, independent of Geltsdale Carpets & Beds Ltd. These linked sites are only for your convenience and therefore you access them at your own risk. Nonetheless, Geltsdale Carpets & Beds Ltd seeks to protect the integrity of its website and the links placed upon it and therefore requests any feedback on not only its own site, but for sites it links to as well (including if a specific link does not work).
